3 carrots, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
olive oil
freshly ground black pepper
1 medium yellow onion, chopped (or spring or I’itoi’s onions)
3 cloves garlic, chopped (or spring garlic)
3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 cups water
1/3 cup chopped fresh dill
salt to taste
